Fundamentals of Maldivian Criminal Justice System

This course is formulated to cover all the fundamental principles of the criminal justice system. It covers concepts such as types of offences, elements of a crime, criminal defenses and offences such as Homicide and property offences. The course is relevant to the Maldivian Criminal Justice System as it has sessions specifically designed to cover the most important legislations in the Maldivian Criminal Justice System such as the Penal Code, Criminal Procedure Code and Evidence Act. With my experience of 8 years in the Maldivian Criminal Justice System, this course is my attempt to leave back an educational service while I pursue my Masters in Criminal Law and Criminal Justice reform.
